The plugin runs on your machine. leash.config stays in your repo. Leash's own state (pins, spend ledger, receipts) stays in ~/.leash on your computer.
In dry-run mode nothing leaves your machine.
In live mode a payment becomes a job on the Leash network:
- The job board (on Vercel, with a Postgres database) stores the app, the amount, a short hint of the recipient (like
@l…d), wallet addresses, the runner's alias and fee, and timestamps. - The recipient's full details are sealed (end-to-end encrypted) to the one runner who took the job. The runner's proof of payment is sealed to the agent and to the arbiter. The server stores these envelopes but can't open them.
- Amounts, timing, wallet addresses and the proof's hash are public on Robinhood Chain, like any on-chain transaction.
- Nobody signs up with a name or email: wallets sign requests.
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. The runner desk keeps your derived encryption key in your browser's session storage until you close the tab.
